The Book of Job reminds us not to trust in worthless things because there’s no return on investment (Job 15:31). Is what you trust in worthless, or worthy? Worldly things are ultimately worthless—your job title, net worth, circle of friends, influence, etc. As the old saying goes, you can’t take it with you. So trust in what is worthy—the One who gives wisdom, honor, glory and blessing (Revelation 4:11).
