What is the opposite of God? Many people answer that it’s the devil. Although the devil is certainly opposed to God, the devil is not God’s opposite. Satan’s opposite is the archangel Michael, one of only three angels specifically named in the Bible (Daniel 12:1; Revelation 12:7-9; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; and Jude 1:9). God has no equal. The devil may be mighty, but God is Almighty.
