What kid doesn’t love a snow day! It’s a time to rest, refresh or throw snowballs. Anyway you look at it, it’s a break from the routine. We could all use a snow day now and then, especially the spiritual kind. Jesus invites all of us to come to Him for rest (Matthew 11:28-30). Even God rested when He created the world (Genesis 2:2-3). Medical research indicates that rest increases inspiration and self-discovery and helps us solve problems. Is it any wonder, then, that God wants you to take a snow day (Hebrews 4:9-11)?
