Dictionaries usually define coincidence as two or more events coming together in a surprising, unexpected way without an obvious causal explanation. Did you know that there’s no word for coincidence in Hebrew? The reasoning is that everything is divinely orchestrated, a belief supported in the Bible. After all, it tells us that every hair on our head is numbered (Luke 12:7) and every day recorded in His book (Psalm 139:16). If God knows every moment and characteristic of your life, then how could anything be coincidental? Think of those moments in your life when someone, or something, seemed to come at just the right time. Do you think of that as happenstance? Coincidence? What you see is not all that you get. What seems so random is actually perfectly controlled by the Creator, the governor of the heavens, the earth and the universe.
